Schema complessivo della strumentazione per le ricerche
di bioacustica marina nella configurazione con idrofono trainato per il
rilevamento acustico in navigazione. I suoni captati dall'idrofono
trainato vengono filtrati, amplificati e registrati su nastro magnetico
per essere archiviati nella fonoteca e analizzati in laboratorio. La
stazione di analisi portatile provvede all'analisi e visualizzazione in
tempo reale dando quindi al ricercatore l'immediata informazione sulle
caratteristiche dei segnali e sulla presenza di animali. La strumentazione
viene alimentata da batterie e pannelli solari consentendo una notevole
autonomia.  |
General scheme of marine bioacoustics research
equipment with a towed hydrophone for acoustic detection during
navigation. The sounds sensed by the towed hydrophone are filtered,
amplified and recorded on a magnetic tape to be filed in the Sound Library
and analysed in the laboratory. A portable analysis set makes the real
time analysis and displaying granting the researchers with immediate
information concerning the features of the signals and the presence of
animals. The equipment is battery and solar panel supplied and therefore
has a long endurance. |
